In 1957, Charles and Olive Scrymgeour (Scott’s grandparents) purchased the ongoing concern, Oxbow Gardens. It was then a commercial flower grower that supplied New England with begonias, geraniums and other plants. The business remains connected to the Bedford, MA property.

Oxbow Gardens provided flowers to the Woolworth chain, delivering 18 wheeler loads for sale. The flowers were grown on site, in two 300 foot greenhouses in Bedford.

Charles and Olive Scrymgeour exhibited at the Massachusetts flower show held in Boston, a number of times in the 60’s.

In 1985, Scott and Joanna Dyment purchased and re-established the business as Oxbow Gardens Landscaping as a landscaping organization to provide service to Bedford and surrounding towns.

Oxbow Gardens Landscaping currently manages properties of over 160 wonderful customers. Proudly, many loyal customers have been with Oxbow Gardens Landscaping since 1985.
